Challenge
Pinsent Masons has a clear growth ambition, and with it a strategic priority: to build perception and reputation for expertise in high-stakes, complex legal work, and to be seen, unambiguously, as a premium player.
In a fast-moving market, crowded with players all making similar claims, expertise alone wouldn’t set them apart. Standing out meant bringing a clear USP to the table, one born from market insight, not assumption.
For this integrated campaign to succeed, it had to cut through, stay authentic and on brand, all while establishing Pinsent Masons as a premium player with something genuinely distinct to offer. That made aligning senior leadership around one idea, and building confidence in the strategy, the critical first step before anything went live.
The idea
Market insight made clear how the legal industry can feel rigid, particularly in how it delivers work, and in how it builds relationships. That’s not Pinsent Masons.
That insight was sharp. We heard how Pinsent Masons deliver the legal expertise expected from a premium firm, but their real distinction is how they read the situation, understand the people in the room, and add value through it. Every premium firm can claim expertise. What clients actually remember is how a firm behaves under pressure – whether it listens for what isn’t said, adjusts to the moment, and goes beyond the letter of the brief. That’s where Pinsent Masons already over-delivered. The campaign just needed to make it visible.
The campaign idea was centered around this distinction: that Pinsent Masons go above and beyond twice over, in the expertise they bring, and in the relationships they build. Always ensuring IQ and EQ work together. That thinking became the platform: “Where there’s more to law.” A line built to work two ways at once, as a credibility claim and a relationship claim, proving that with Pinsent Masons, any matter and any relationship means more.
The result was a campaign that not only achieved outstanding reach across the City but also resonated with our people and our clients. It elevated our profile externally, created a genuine sense of pride internally, and laid a strong foundation for future brand growth.

Bringing the idea to life
To deliver, we created an integrated campaign, led through out-of-home activation and extended onto LinkedIn. It ran for six weeks from May to June 2026 across Tube digital ribbons, cross-track posters, and rail digital and print. With the same system carrying onto LinkedIn to reach the audience in their professional feed as well as on their commute.
Targeted across the City’s key transport hubs, from Bank to Liverpool Street, Cannon Street to Monument, it built awareness and sparked conversations exactly where Pinsent Masons’ audience moves during their day.
The campaign system paired a focused “Experts in…” headline with a distinct visual highlight treatment, prioritizing the service lines that mattered most to growth, such as M&A, private capital, real estate, cybersecurity, and global investigations. Lines like “Experts in real estate who cover your assets” did double duty, establishing category credibility while signaling the human read that came with it. Every execution closed on the same signature line, tying the whole campaign system back to one idea.
It marked a moment of pride. Pinsent Masons showed up in public at scale, building brand awareness externally and confidence internally – a signal that the firm was ready to be on the front foot about the value it offers.

Impact
The campaign was impossible to miss. Every format it ran on over-delivered: digital ribbons hit 139% of target, pushing 818,486 plays past a booked 589,680. Rail digital 6-sheets ran at 104%, motion City screens at 103%. Panels stayed live beyond their booked window entirely on their own merit, at no extra cost to the firm.
Add it up, and Pinsent Masons reached more than eight million people across the City’s busiest commuter hubs, targeting the key audiences, like CEOs and general counsels, it needed to reach at scale.
But the more telling shift happened inside the offices. The campaign became a genuine source of pride and proof that Pinsent Masons could show up as boldly as the work it does for clients. It gave the firm a new, front-footed way to talk about its own value, and a platform for perception and growth to build from.
