Global consultancy Brandpie today announced a new, long-term partnership with Griffith Business School at Griffith University to expand its thinking and impact measurement capabilities. Brandpie has been at the forefront of purpose-driven transformation since its inception in 2008, and Griffith Business School’s expertise in the world of purpose is unparalleled.

The announcement comes in the wake of a rapidly changing world, where the onus for business to create meaningful impact has increased, and society and organizations will fundamentally transform over the coming decades. This transformation is required to enable a prosperous society on our planet. Issues such as inequality, climate change, energy transformation, pollution, and reforestation must be tackled. All these challenges, and more, are on Brandpie’s, and its clients’ agendas.

Brandpie will work with Professor Nick Barter and Professor Chris Fleming from Griffith Business School. Barter and Fleming have been advising organizations and researching economics, strategy, and sustainability for over a decade. This partnership brings together Brandpie’s and Griffith’s complementary capabilities to explore what ‘Purpose 2.0’ must achieve against a rapidly changing global landscape, and to explore the key organizational blockers that hold it back.

Griffith Business School’s MBA program is ranked number one in the Corporate Knights Better World MBA Ranking – a position it recently achieved for the second year in a row. Given its Australian location and APAC focus, combined with Brandpie’s existing strength in Europe and the US, the partnership will further advance the purpose agenda in a truly global capacity.

The partnership will explore the theories, practices and measurement required to enable enduring purpose transformation at increasing pace and scale. It will provide a foundation of knowledge, experience and thought leadership – helping Brandpie’s clients and wider businesses to transform for the better. The partnership will also help Brandpie fulfil its own purpose: ‘to make the world of business purpose-driven.’

Joanne Kerr, Strategy Partner, Brandpie, said, “We are super excited to be working with Griffith Business School. From our first call it was clear there was a true meeting of minds and a genuine desire on both sides to push the purpose agenda forward. We bring different capabilities and perspectives, and this diversity of thought is challenging us all to think in new and exciting ways. I am really looking forward to what we can achieve together.”

Professors Nick Barter and Chris Fleming said, “We are thrilled to be working with Brandpie. For many years our work has been focused on helping organizations become Future Normal – organizations that act meaningfully in their surroundings and purposefully to benefit society. Working with Brandpie is a fabulous opportunity to do so, and the combination of our perspectives should bring forward wonderful possibilities.”
